Jemboro — Privacy Policy

Version 2026-10. This policy explains what information Jemboro (the app and jemboro.com) collects and why. Jemboro is sold by its owner, a sole proprietor in Maryland, USA ("we"). Contact: support@jemboro.com.

1. Your drawings stay on your computer. Jemboro runs offline — your files are never uploaded anywhere online. The app reads, names and splits your PDFs entirely on your computer, and never sends your drawings, file names, sheet names or any content from them.

2. What the app sends. - Update check. When the app starts, it checks jemboro.com for a new version. This request contains only the app's version number. The reply includes a list of license keys that have been switched off (as one-way fingerprints, never emails), so the app can check its own key on your computer. Like any web request, it reveals your IP address to our web host; we do not store it or link it to you. - Crash reports — only if you choose. If the app crashes, it offers to send an error report. Nothing is sent unless you click to send it. A report contains the error details, app version and Windows version, and no drawing content. - Reporting a misread set — only if you choose. Help → "Report a set Jemboro misread" opens a draft email in your own email program with the app version and Windows version filled in. Nothing is sent automatically: you decide whether to attach a PDF and whether to send it. - Nothing else. The app has no analytics, advertising or tracking.

2a. Drawing sets you email us. If you email us a drawing set, we use it only to find and fix what Jemboro misread. We don't share it, publish it or use it for anything else, and we delete it once the fix is released, or within 12 months at the latest. Ask us any time and we'll delete it sooner.

3. What we collect when you buy. Payments are handled by Link, Stripe's checkout service, acting as merchant of record. Link and Stripe collect your name, email, billing details and payment information under their own privacy policies (link.com/privacy and stripe.com/privacy), and use them to process the payment, calculate tax and send your receipt; we never see your full card number. We receive your email, the purchase amount and date, and your acceptance of the Terms of Use, which we keep as a record of the sale. We use your email to send your license key and, if you ask, to resend it. License emails are sent through Resend (resend.com).

4. The website. jemboro.com uses no cookies and no analytics tracking. When you click to get Jemboro from the Microsoft Store, we add one to a daily count; we do not record who clicked. Our web host, Cloudflare, keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security, under its own policy. Installing from the Microsoft Store is covered by Microsoft's privacy statement.

5. How long we keep it. Purchase records are kept as long as needed for taxes, accounting and handling disputes — normally 7 years. Crash reports are deleted within 12 months.

6. Sharing. We do not sell or rent your information. We share it only with the services above (Stripe and Link, Resend, Cloudflare as our web host, and Microsoft for Store installs) to run Jemboro, or when the law requires it.

7. Your choices and rights. You can ask us to see, correct or delete your information by emailing support@jemboro.com. We may need to keep purchase records the law requires. If you are in the EU, UK or California, you have these rights under your local law, including the right to complain to your data protection authority.

8. Children. Jemboro is a business tool and is not directed at children under 16.

9. Changes. If this policy changes, we will update the version date above.
